Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective date: 9 April 2026
1. Overview
This policy explains how billing, cancellations, and refunds work for PathWatch, a website monitoring platform operated by Vertexion Platforms Ltd.
All payment processing for PathWatch is handled by Paddle.com Market Limited (“Paddle”), our Merchant of Record. Paddle is the legal seller of record — the entity that charges you, issues invoices, and handles sales tax and VAT. When you make a purchase, your payment contract is with Paddle. Vertexion Platforms Ltd provides and is responsible for the PathWatch service itself.
2. Free Tier
The PathWatch Free tier requires no payment method and incurs no charges. You may use the Free tier indefinitely and can cancel or delete your account at any time without any financial obligation.
3. Paid Plans
PathWatch offers several paid subscription plans (Home Lab, Starter, Professional, Business, and Enterprise). Key billing terms:
- Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, in advance, depending on the billing cycle you select at checkout.
- Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
- All prices are subject to applicable taxes as determined by Paddle based on your location.
4. Refund Policy
All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, our Merchant of Record, and refunds are governed by Paddle’s Refund Policy. All refund requests must be submitted to Paddle directly via the link in your invoice email or at paddle.net.
Statutory Withdrawal Rights (EU / EEA / Switzerland / UK)
If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA, Switzerland, or United Kingdom, you have a 14-day statutory right to withdraw from your subscription and receive a full refund. This right applies to your first payment only and must be exercised within 14 days of that transaction. It does not apply to subsequent monthly or annual renewals, except that UK customers on annual plans have a new 14-day withdrawal window at each annual renewal date.
The right to withdraw does not apply once you have started using the Service and have given express consent to waive your withdrawal rights at checkout.
Other Regions
Consumers in certain other regions (including Canada, South Korea, Brazil, Singapore, and others) may have separate statutory rights under local law. Where such rights exist, Paddle will apply the highest applicable standard. See Paddle’s Refund Policy for country-specific details.
No Additional Refund Rights
Beyond the statutory rights described above, all transactions are non-refundable. We do not offer discretionary refunds for change of mind, unused time, or any other reason. Subsequent subscription renewals carry no right of withdrawal except where required by applicable law.
Refunds will not be issued where there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or manipulative behaviour, or where the account has violated our Terms of Service.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel your paid subscription at any time. Here is what happens when you cancel:
- Your cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain full access to your paid plan features until that date.
- After your billing period ends, your account is automatically downgraded to the Free tier.
- Your monitoring data is retained according to the Free tier’s retention limits. Data exceeding the Free tier’s retention period will be automatically deleted.
- You will not be charged again after cancellation unless you resubscribe.
6. How to Cancel
You can cancel your PathWatch subscription using either of these methods:
- Via the app: Go to your organisation settings in the PathWatch dashboard and select “Cancel subscription”.
- Via email: Send a cancellation request to support@pathwatch.app from the email address associated with your account.
Cancellation is processed promptly and you will receive email confirmation.
